Greetings! You have reached my personal web page where I have an odd collection of resources but where I can boast about the things I like. In my day job I am a research scientist with the University of Texas Houston Health Science Center examining the inate immune system at the basic science level. I work at the Brown Foundation Institute of Molecular Medicine for the Prevention of Human Diseases, IMM. In the off hours, I am an avid astronomer (calling the Johnson Space Center Astronomical Society my "home"), active adult leader in my son's Boy Scout Troop, past leader in his Cub Scout Pack, I'm active in the Sierra Club, I enjoy in-line skating, running, photography, gardening, and too many things to list here.
